Your Privacy Rights: You have the right to know what data we collect, request a copy of your data, and request deletion of your account and associated data.

What Data Do We Have?

The data we store depends on whether you've signed in with an account. Here's a complete breakdown:

If You Use Our Apps Without an Account

Note: Anonymous data cannot be exported or deleted on a per-user basis because we cannot identify which data belongs to you. This data is aggregated and used only to improve app stability and features.

If You Use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google

When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we store the following in Firebase Authentication:

*Apple only shares your name during the very first sign-in. If you didn't share it then, we don't have it.

If you use cloud sync features (currently in JudicialScope on Android), we may also store:

Request Your Data

Download Your Data

Request a copy of all personal data associated with your account. We'll email you a summary within 30 days.

Enter the email address associated with your Civic Suite account (your Apple ID email, Apple private relay email, or Google email).

Delete Your Account & Data

Before You Delete: Account deletion is permanent. You will lose access to any premium subscriptions, and your data cannot be recovered. Your subscription itself must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play.

Request Account Deletion

Permanently delete your Civic Suite account and all associated personal data from our systems.

Enter the email address associated with your Civic Suite account.

What Happens After Deletion?

When we process your deletion request:

  1. Within 48 hours: We will verify your request and begin processing
  2. Within 7 days: Your account and personal data will be removed from Firebase Authentication
  3. Within 30 days: Any cloud-synced data (bookmarks, notes, preferences) will be permanently deleted
  4. Retained: Anonymized analytics data (cannot be linked to you) may be retained for product improvement

Subscription Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To stop future charges, you must also cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play.

Delete Data From Your Device

To remove all locally-stored data immediately:

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage
  2. Find the Civic Suite app (CivicScope, ExecutiveScope, or JudicialScope)
  3. Tap Delete App
  4. This removes all local data including cached content, preferences, and any stored API keys

Android

  1. Go to Settings > Apps
  2. Find the Civic Suite app
  3. Tap Storage > Clear Data (removes data but keeps the app)
  4. Or tap Uninstall (removes app and all data)

You can limit analytics collection without deleting your account:
